Flip Flop Notebook and Sticky Set

I know any young girl would love using this while making lists and getting ready for a trip to the beach.

Flip Flop Lip Gloss

This tiny little flip flop is just the cutest thing ever. The gloss is also sheer which is good if you don’t want your tween wearing any bold colors on their lips.

boodle box review june 2014

Cosmetic Bag and Brush Holder

This is just too cute and can hold more than just your makeup and brushes which makes this even more fantastic.

Ruby Wing Crowd Surf Color-Changing Nail Polish

I’ve always wanted to try the Ruby Wing color changing polish, so it is so great to see some in the box.

boodle box review june 2014

Katy Perry Solid Perfume Locket

I looked at this before taking a look at the product card and had no idea what it was. I love the idea behind solid perfume, and the fact that this doubles as a cute accessory makes it even better.

boodle box review june 2014

Flip Flop Bling Strips

These are so cute. I remember when I was younger I would bling out my flip flops all the time.

Flip flop Manicure Set

I love this little manicure set. It is perfect for a quick mani while you are relaxing at the beach.

Thoughts: I loved how on-theme this box was. Perfect for trips to the beach and just celebrating the fact that it is officially summer! The value is also really impressive at over $73. I gave this box to a tween I know and she loved everything in the box, she couldn’t get over all the cute flip flop products.

Brides Magazine – Value $12

I was hoping to get a magazine with Coco on the cover, but this was not a great magazine for me to get (my fiancee and I are no longer in a relationship), but Coco does look stunning in this magazine!

coco rocha fancy box review

Senhoa Champagne Delight II Bracelet – Value $45

This is modeled after the bracelet Coco wore during her own wedding which I thought was really neat. The bracelet has this wonderful vintage look that I adore.

coco rocha fancy box review

Hangster Photo Display – Value $13

This is such a cute way to hang photos. I can definitely picture hanging these up in my office.

coco rocha fancy box review

Studio Sarah Thank You Card – Value $6

It’s not the most exciting thing to get in a subscription box unless it is one of those stationary boxes. At least it will get used..

coco rocha fancy box review

Cargo Essential Smokey Eye Palette- Retail Value $34

I love palettes like this and I love the neutral colors. Not to mention the packaging is very cute too!

Thoughts: I did not know what to expect with the Coco Rocha Fancy box. I will use a lot of the products, while others may not get as much use (like the magazine). It is a good box and the products I will use are the higher values products in the box which is good. What did you think of the Coco Rocha Fancy box?

Homegrown Collective Review June 2014

homegrown collective review

I’ve wanted to try Homegrown Collective for months. Finally, I decided I could not wait any longer and signed up for a three-month subscription. I was so thrilled when I got my first box in the mail.

homegrown collective review

homegrown collective review

The Product cards and DIYs. This month you could make hot or cold infused oil and balsamic vinegar or use your ingredients for a foot scrub.

homegrown collective review

The spices

I love that Homegrown Collective only sources local and organic herbs for their boxes.

homegrown collective review

The containers

I think the containers for the oil and vinegar are incredibly cute.

homegrown collective review

The extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar

Both taste incredible on their own. The oil has a nice sweet and floral note, while the vinegar has a wonderful tang to it.

homegrown collective review

The extras

I did not want to use the oil for the foot scrub, so I used the stone using my own ingredients I had at home. All the pieces are really nice quality and I will be able to keep them for ages.

Thoughts: I thought this was a great first box for me, especially since I live off extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar during the summer. I love that they provide different ways to use the ingredients, and two different ways to infuse the oil and vinegar, depending on your comfort level. I did not include values because the true value of this box rests in the project more than anything else. I can’t wait until I can get next month’s box! What do you think of Homegrown Collective?

FabKids Review June 2014

It’s been a year since I last reviewed FabKids, so I thought now would be a good time to give them another try.

The Cost: $29.95

The Products: FabKids is related to JustFab and Fabletics. Each month you will be charged the monthly fee which you can apply to a new outfit for your child.

Other Reviews: You can read my past FabKids reviews here.

fabkids review

Gingham Bow Dress – Retail Value $29.95

I absolutely love this dress for the summer months! It is so rustic and I want to buy my daughter a pair of little cowgirl boots to match!

Back Zip Heart Dress – Retail Value $29.95

This I bought for the cooler days and the fall months. I love the navy blue with the bit of neon yellow in the back. It has a very retro feel that I adore.

fabkids review

I couldn’t get her to stay still long enough to get a nice shot of what the dress looks like. This is a size S (4 – 5) and she normally wears a size 3T – 4T, the last outfit we bought last year was an XS and I felt it shrunk a lot after we washed it, so I like that this dress fit a little better.

Thoughts: The quality of the outfits is great, especially considering the price. I do not always like the styles offered on the site, but you can find a few gems like these two dresses every so often. While I do think their regular price listed is a bit inflated, the VIP price is right on mark with what I would pay in a department store for similar like, kind and quality. What do you think about FabKids?

Mini Stability Ball and Video - Retail Value $28.94

We got mini stability balls in a previous PopSugar box and I admittedly did not get a chance to use it. I am hoping that the video will help motivate me to use it now and with the spare ball, I might be able to get someone to work out with me!

The Better Chip Spinach and Kale – Retail Value $1.99

These were tasty and addictive! I wish they sent a bigger bag!

fabfitfun spring 2014 review

Cult Gaia Cherry Turband – Retail Value $48

This is super cute. I wanted to get this or the blue and white polka dot turband, so I was pleased to get this in my box. Unfortunately, I do not feel as though I pull it off, so this will be given away.

Thoughts: I liked this box a lot, but I am not totally in love with it. (I think I am still a little upset that the turband doesn’t look too great on me!) Overall, I think it’s a great box for warm spring weather and getting ready for summer and I think the value of this box is just amazing for the price you pay. I think you can still sign up for the summer box which ships at the end of the month. What did you think of the Spring 2014 FabFitFun VIP Box?

Wantable Intimates Review June 2014

wantable intimates review

Wantable has some of the best boxes for me and I usually love everything I get. I decided that this month I wanted to compare the larger size products from Wantable Intimates with a smaller size to see the difference in products, so I decided to get a box for my mom who is a size M.

wantable intimates review

The Cost: $36 a month ($40 for a one-time box)

The Products: Wantable Intimates includes a variety of intimates including loungewear, socks, soft bras and nightgowns. The specific types of items you get is dependent upon your profile questionnaire.

The Concept: The Wantable Intimates box is a great way to get new nightwear from new and popular brands.

Other Reviews: You can read my past Wantable reviews here.

Lace Trim Bandeau – Retail Value $ 15

This is really soft and I do own a pair of my own and think it is great for comfortable lift, but is definitely not something I would be able to wear out. Someone with a smaller chest probably would be more than okay to use this for everyday use.

wantable intimates review

Slim & Thin Shapewear – Retail Value $15

wantable intimates review

St Eve Grey Star Nightshirt – Retail Value $32

This is super soft and comfy, I know my mother will love this because she prefers wearing nightshirts.

wantable intimates review

Pucker Up! Emily Flyaway Pink Babydoll – Retail Value $34

This is just so adorable, I wish it was in my size! It is definitely something I would wear, but my mother will probably end up giving this to one of my sisters.

Thoughts: This was a great box! I definitely think smaller sizes have a much cuter variety compared to the larger sizes (XL and up). There are still lots of cute things for larger women, but a box like this is more my style. I know my mother will love getting this box. What did you think of the June Wantable Intimates box?

Bespoke Post Seared Review

bespoke post seared review

Ever since getting the salt block in my Mother’s Day Taste Trunk, I’ve been obsessed with trying new recipes with it. I decided I needed two salt blocks. One to use cold and the other to use hot. I knew Bespoke Post came out with Seared which included a salt block, so I decided that it was the perfect way to try out this popular men’s subscription box.

bespoke post seared review

bespoke post review seared

Here is some information about how to use the salt block.

bespoke post seared review

Himalayan Salt Block - Retail Value $34.95

This salt block is huge. This is the reason why I decided to get this particular box because a larger salt block would work better for heated recipes where I am more likely to use it to grill veggies, meats and seafood.

WMF Profi Plus Butterfly Turner - Retail Value $24

This is such a fancy looking spatula utensil. Apparently you cannot put it through the dishwasher, but it is perfect for getting under anything you may be grilling on the salt block.

bespoke post seared review

Essential Cane Habanero & Sweet Onion Sugars - Retail Value $5

You can use these sugars for pretty much anything. I am so excited. I think they would work the best in a cocktail, but I will need to try to go out of my comfort zone and experiment with them. I tasted the sweet onion and it is so delicious. Sweet and savory all at once.

Thoughts: The value of this box is really there, at well over $60. I love that Bespoke Post in general exposes you to something completely different and many of their boxes are great for everyone, not just men. I am really excited to use everything in the box. What did you think of the Bespoke Post seared box? What did you make with your salt block?
