Beauty Box 5 Review November 2013 – Beauty Subscription Box

beauty box 5 review november

Beauty Box 5 is a neat little subscription box that sends a nice variety of full-size and deluxe-size samples. I had a three-month subscription, but have been receiving a couple of extra boxes post-subscription. As it turns out, it was just a shipping error and this will be my final box!

The Cost: $12 a month

Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid – Value $8.49

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash – Value $1

The deodorant also came with a coupon for a free stick as well as a few other coupons. I’ve received deodorants in my boxes before, but this is the first drugstore brand I’ve gotten. It is not the most exciting product to get, but definitely comes in handy!

Be a Bombshell Eye Crayon in Well Played – Value $14 (Full Size!)

Bella Pierre Red Cosmetic Glitter – Value $14.99 (Full-Size!)

I love the color of the eye crayon – it is so perfect for the holidays and has a nice amount of shimmer.

The glitter is very pretty, but I don’t ever see me using it on my body. I will have to think of another way of utilizing it. Maybe some Wizard of Oz ruby red nail polish!

Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa Mask – Value $2

I do a face mask every Saturday, so I cannot wait to try this out!

Thoughts: I am very happy with the value of this box – a little over $40 if you don’t include the coupons. I think for the price, you really get a good value, plus they always put items in the box that you can always use.

Beauty Box 5 Review October 2013 – Beauty Subscription Box

Although I really loved my past Beauty Box 5 boxes, I decided to cancel my subscription for a while because my products were starting to pile up a bit. I was surprised to find another box from them at my door this weekend!

The Cost: $12 a month, including shipping (an annual subscription is only $99!)

The Products: Each month you will get 4 – 5 full- and sample-sized products from new and popular brands from Beauty Box 5. You can read my past Beauty Box 5 reviews here.

Nubar Alter Ego Nail Lacquer in Kristal  – Value $4
Model Co Cheek and Lip Tint – Value $11

I am happy to get any polish at any time. I love the sparkles and have already done a cute pedicure with this.

For a while now, I’ve been eyeing the Model Co Cheek and Lip Tint for a while now, but have not wanted to commit to a full-size product. I am thrilled to finally be able to test it out!

La Fresh Travel Lite Facial Cleansing Wipes – Value $2.49

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion – Value $1
I have a pretty nice stash of La Fresh wipes which is great because I love them and use them nearly every day,.
Aveeno is one of my go-to lotion brands, so I was happy to have a travel-size version to toss in my purse.

Swissco Glitter Toe Separators – Value $2
My daughter ripped the last toe separators I received from my Julep Mystery a couple of months ago, so I’ve been careful to keep these away from her. I love the cute punk sparkles!

Thoughts: This was a really nice box from Beauty Box 5 and I am really glad that I did get this one. The value of this box is over $20 which is impressive considering it costs only $12. I’ve already used everything in the box and am considering checking into my current subscription status and possibly just letting it continue on – what do you think?

Beauty Box 5 Review September 2013 – Beauty Subscription Box

A few months ago, I signed up for a three-month subscription and this is the last box in that subscription. I am debating whether or not I should extend my subscription.

The Cost: $12 a month
The Products: Each month, you will get five full or sample-sized products from a number of popular and new beauty brands in your Beauty Box 5.
You can read my past Beauty Box 5 reviews here.

Every Beauty Makeup Remove Pads – Sample Pack – Value $1.50

I tried a makeup remover pad last night and I was really impressed with the results! Usually, makeup remover pads leave my skin feeling so dry and unclean and I usually end up washing my face after any way. This pad not only removed all my makeup completely and my skin felt fine after. These are definitely good for those lazy nights.

Fine FeatherHeads Fly Ties – Value $7.95
Bella Pieree Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Celebration – Value $15 (Full-Size!)

I love this kind of hair tie – and so does my family. Every time I get new hair ties, they go missing right away. Hopefully I can keep this pack.

Body Drench Lip Drench Lip Balm in Eucalyptus – Value $4.95
Skinn Shop Instant Skin Tightening and Line Filler – 3 ml Value $8

The eucalyptus in the balm is powerful! I put on a thin layer yesterday and I could feel the eucalyptus working for hours after.
Thoughts: This is was a pretty good box for the price you pay. Beauty Box 5 consistently sends out brands that I love or are completely new to me. I think my favorite products this month are the hair ties and the makeup pads!

Nubar Nail Polish in White Tip – Value $4
Be a Bombshell in All Nighter – Value $14 (Full-Size!)

I have a pretty nice white polish collection now and I am glad to have one from another brand because I am not a huge fan of the white I have from the brands I have now.

I love dark eyeshadows because I do a mean smokey eye, so this was a welcomed surprise in my box!

Swissco Nail File – Value $1.50
Bask Heavenly Silk Daily Skin Nourishing Moisturizer –  Value $2.50

I’ve been needing a new nail file for the longest time – I’ve just been too lazy to get a new one on my own.
I like the moisturizer but I gave this to my mom since I already have plenty to go through.

H20+ Advanced Marine Firming Micro-Collagen Moisturizer – .27 oz Value $8

Thoughts: What I love the most about Beauty Box 5 is that they always include products from brands I love. they always seem to know when I really need a certain product and make sure to include it in the box!

Beauty Box 5 Review July 2013 – Beauty Subscription Box

I only recently subscribed to Beauty Box 5 and I truly wish I tried them sooner! I was so impressed by my first box and when they offered to send me another box to review, there was no way I could turn them down!

Model Co. Illusions Lip Liner – Value $20 (Full-Size!)

Right away the first product is worth more than the cost of the box! I love the color and the fact that the cap double as a pencil sharpener.

Bodyogrophy Veil Foundation Primer in Clear – Value $10

I love primers so I cannot wait to try this one out. This particular primer comes in several corrective colors, but I am really happy that I got the clear version.

Evie Evan Mini Moisture Cream - Value $13 (Full-Size!)

I thought this little pot of moisturizer was so cute! It is ultra-moisturizing but does not weight down my face or feel greasy.

OFRA Costmetics Glamour Eye Shadow – Value $8

This is a very unique color and I cannot wait to try it out.

Jean Pierre Cosmetics Oil-Absorbing Sheets – Value $1.99 (Full-Size!)

I suffer from seriously oily skin, so oil-blotting sheets are always welcomed! I already tossed these in my purse

Thoughts: Again, I am completely impressed by this box! Most of the items cost more than what the box costs! In total the box is valued over $50 which is insanely amazing! Plus, most of the products were full-sized. I really think this may be one of my new favorite boxes!

What did you think of my Beauty Box 5? Which was your favorite product? Mine is definitely the Bodyology and the Evie Evan moisture cream.

Beauty Box 5 Review July 2013 – Beauty Subscription Box

This was my first Beauty Box 5 and I am pretty excited about this subscription box! Beauty Box 5 is a beauty subscription box that sends out 4 – 5 beauty product samples from popular brands.

The Cost: $12 a month including shipping, less if you choose a longer subscription

The Products: Full- and sample-sized beauty products from some of the popular brands in the market. Beauty Box 5 will include a variety of products including makeup, hair and skin care products, beauty accessories and more.  You can read my past Beauty Box 5 reviews here.

I love that they have such a good variety in their boxes! My first impressions were very high once I saw a few of my own personal favorite brands.

Jean Pierre Cosmetics Nail Polish Remover Wipes - Value $1

I was very interested in these nail polish wipes. When I am alone in the office, I sometimes like to do a quick manicure and these are definitely helpful! My only concern is that the packaging says that it is good for 10 nails, but the solution dried out while I was still working on one hand. I added a tiny bit of water and that did help.

H2O Plus Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment – Value $5.70

I just had a birthday earlier this month, so I am increasingly more aware of aging skin, so anything that claims to give me younger looking skin throughout the day is great in my book!

Be a Bombshell Lip gloss in Summer Lovin’ – Value $14 (Full-Size!)

I first heard about Be a Bombshell through Ipsy and I fell in love their the entire line of products. This lipgloss makes my lips look ultra moist, but is pretty sticky. The color is sheer and very natural, so I like to mix it with another gloss to give it a tiny bit more color and cut down on the stickiness.

La Fresh Travel-lite Antibacterial Wipes – Value $1.99 (Full-Size!)

I know a lot of people complain about getting La Fresh wipes in their boxes, but this is my first time, so I was happy to see them!

Every Beauty Foot Smoother – Value $8.99 (Full-Size!)

I love how versatile this product is! They recommend trying it on all rough areas of skin you may have including your knees and elbows.
Thoughts: I am very happy with my Beauty Box 5 and cannot wait for August! When I subscribed, I opted for a 3-month subscription, but I have a feeling I will end up extending my subscription beyond that if future boxes are as good. I paid only $10 for this box and got over $30 in products. If that is not a good deal, than I don’t know what is!
What did you think of the July Beauty Box 5? What was your favorite products? Mine is the Be a Bombshell lip gloss!
