Faber-Castell Duo Tip Markers – Retail Value $8.79

Although these markers are washable, I found it very difficult to get the marker off her skin. Besides that, I love the colors and theconvenience of having two markers in one!

Citrus Lane Review April 2014 + Semi-Annual Sale!

citrus lane review

I subscribed to Citrus Lane a few months back and loved the boxes, when they had a deal for a free box last month, I had to jump on the chance to get another box. The weather’s been so nice lately and my daughter’s shown a serious interest in photography, that I decided to let her help me take the photos of this month’s box during our picnic this weekend!

Skip Through the Seasons by Stella Blackstone and Maria Carluccio – Retail Value $6.99

This book is a ton of fun for us to read. It really helps to show how the seasons change with each month. I love that it has a seek and find within each month. It’s a fun way to learn to be more observant,

Green Eats Tumblers – Retail Value $6.28

My daughter has a ton of her own special cups that she uses, so this will probably be gifted. I do like that they are made from recycled plastic and big enough to prevent a lot of sloshing while toddlers attempt to run away with their cups.

Ladybug Magazine – Value $3

I thought this kid’s magazine was adorable! My daughter had more fun coloring in it than looking through it. I appreciated the card which also offered a free digital subscription or discount print subscription, but will probably pass on the offer since she didn’t show that much interest.

Cloud B Twinkles To Go Octo Pink – Value $20.95

I’ve always wanted one of the Cloud B Twilight Turtles for my daughter, so I was so thrilled to see this in our box! This is just a mini version and glows in red or blue (we prefer the blue). So far, we’ve been using this every night and even hide under the covers and light it during the day!

Bops Baked Organic Potato Snack – Value $1

I was not a big fan of these. They were salty, but also a little sweet. I took a look at the ingredients and noticed sugar on the list. Not too happy about that.

Hohner Instruments Rhythm Sticks – Value $3.49

I loved these for my daughter! She is a little budding musician and I know we will get a lot of use out of the rhythm sticks.

Thoughts: This month’s Citrus Lane was fantastic! I was so happy with the box overall and my daughter loved everything as well. The only thing I would have changed was the type of snack we received.
