Goodies Co Review September 2013 – Snack Subscription Box

When I first heard about Goodies Co, I was a little dubious because of their association with Walmart. I decided to at least give them a try before passing final judgement. This was my second box with them.

The Cost: $10 a month

The Products: Each month, Goodies Co will deliver a variety of popular and gourmet snacks. You can read my past Goodies Co reviews here.

Kashi Hummus Crisps in Sundried Tomato, Basil & Feta – Value $1
Nestle Pure Life Splash in Lemon – Value $1

I love Kashi products and these chips were no exception. I could eat them every day.

Numi Savory Tea in Beet Cabbage – Value $0.67
Attiki Greek Honey – Value $2

I heard of savory teas before, but never had the chance to try them out for myself. I have to say, the Beet Cabbage was really nice! I can definitely see this having a place in my cupboard.

Bare Fruit Fuji Red Apple Chips – Value $1
Scottie Dogs Black Licorice – Value $2
Zone Bar Greek Yogurt Chocolate – Value $1.50

I hated black licorice when I was younger. Now that I am older, I find I am better able to tolerate the flavor much better. The Scottie Dogs were a pleasant surprise.

Thoughts: This was a pretty good collection of snacks this month. I certainly like it better without the candies from last month. It would be great if more of their boxes were like this!

What do you think of Goodies Co?

Goodies Review and Coupon August 2013 – Snack Subscription Box

I’ve really been on the fence about Goodies for a while, but I decided that I needed to give them a try, especially since you can get your first box free!

The Cost: $7 a month, including shipping

The Coupon: Use code IAfbP2 to get your first box free.

The Products: Goodies sends out a selection of snacks and candies.

Fiber One Chocolate Fudge Brownie – Value $1
Nature Valley Granola Thin in Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter – Value $1

I used to eat both snacks regularly about a year ago, so it was nice to have them again.

Betty Crocker Hershey’s Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix – Value $3.50

I made some flax chocolate chip cookies as you may have seen on my Instagram. So when we got this a few days later, we had to try them and compare! I ended up adding more flax to these and they were just as good!

Tangy Zangy Twisters – Value $1
Poplets Sea Salt & Butter – Value $1

I am not really into sour candy so I let my daughter tried one, and I was surprised to see how much she liked it. In fact, I left them on the table and she managed to swipe them and gobbled the whole bag. I had to deal with a 30 minute sugar rush right after.

The Poplets were interesting. They reminded me of HalfPops, but they honestly tasted a lot more artificial. HalfPops are still my favorite!

Pronto Liquid Coffee Brewstick in Southern Pecan – Value $1
Mott’s Medleys Assorted Fruit Flavored Snacks – Value $1

At first, I had no idea what the Pronto stick was. My first guess was that it was a coffee-flavorer. As it turns out, it is simply coffee in a tube! You add it to hot or cold water and enjoy. I am not much for coffee, so this will be gifted.

Thoughts: I am pretty happy with my Goodies box. I think it is a great, inexpensive way to get a few of your favorite snacks and treats while also discovering a few new brands.
