Kona Kase Review August 2013 – Healthy Snack and Fitness Subscription Box

I signed up for a three-month subscription to Kona Kase because I love the mix of healthy and fitness-related snacks and supplements. This is great for someone like me who is trying to get back on the wagon with working out.

The Cost: $15 a month

The Products: Kona Kase focuses on sending healthy snacks and fitness supplements for an active lifestyle.

I love the quotes Kona Kase includes in each box – this particular quote really hits home with me.

Krave Chili Lime Beef Jerky – Value $3
Greenola Raisin Coconut Kale Chips – Value $3

The beef jerky is incredibly spicy – it was shocking!

I am used to savory kale chips, so these took some getting used to. By the end, I was a fan!

Rise Honey Almond Protein Bar – Value $2.50
Justin’s Classic Almond Butter - Value $1.50

I love Rise protein bars, so this was a huge treat for me.

Almond butter is one of my favorites, so I ate this sample with some crackers right away.

BioTRUST Protein Cookie in Frosted Oatmeal Raisin – Value $3.25

This was so very yummy – perhaps a little on the sweet side.

Quest Bar in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough – Value $1.50
Lara Bar in Cherry Pie – Value $1.75

I adore Lara Bars, so I was so excited to see one on my box!

Thoughts: Kona Kase has yet to disappoint me! The snacks are delicious and I can feel good about eating them.

Kona Kase Review July 2013 – Snack Subscription Box

Kona Kase is a healthy snack subscription that focuses on fitness and active lifestyles. I love that this box has a mix of fitness related snacks and supplements.

The Cost: $15 a month, including shipping
The Products: Healthy snacks, plus fitness supplements that are nutritious and helpful for pre- and post- workouts.
I’ve received a few of these snacks in other boxes. I enjoyed them so much, I was happy to see them make another appearance. There are also a lot of new snacks for me to try too.
Caveman Cookies – Value $2
These little cookies were divine. Soft, chewy and coconuty, I could not get enough!
The granola mix was delicious. The flavor actually reminded me of a cookie, but so much better for you! I could not find any brand information, so the
I am not a big fan of energy shots, but I decided to give this a try anyway. It was actually a lot better than other similar products I’ve tried and did not make me feel too hyper nor did I crash.
I live chia seed bars so this was the jest item in the box to go!
Perky Jerky Turkey Jerky – Value $1.50
The energy chews were really delicious and did the job great. It was hard to not gobble down the whole bag at once!
I’ve tried Perky Jerky before and I was not a fan. These were given to mom.
Garuka Bars Original – Value $3.50
I first tried the Seed and Fruit mix in my June Boxtera box and I loved it. I was very happy to see it make an appearance in another box and in a different flavor!
The Garuka Bar was sweet, but not artificially so. The sweetness came from the fruits and honey which made it rich and a wonderful treat.
Thoughts: This was a great Kona Kase! I loved all the snacks, and a few of them were lifesavers both at work and after my workouts.

Kona Kase Review June 2013 – Health and Fitness Subscription Box

I’ve heard so much about Kona Kase that I simply had to try them out for myself. According to several people, this is one of the best healthy snack and fitness product boxes available and at a very reasonable price to boot.

The Cost: $15 a month, including shipping

The Products: Kona Kase includes a variety of healthy snacks as well as nutritional and fitness supplements perfect for pre- and post-workout boosts.

Just a brief look at everything told me that I was going to absolutely love Kona Kase!

Mamma Chia in Apple Cinnamon – Value $2
Half Pops in Butter and Sea Salt – Value $2.50

My daughter loved the Mamma Chia. She would not even let me have a taste!

If you read my May Boxtera review, you know that I completely fell in love with Half Pops after trying them. I literally squealed with joy when I saw them again in my Kona Kase.

Osmo Nutrition – Value $1.50
Clif Gel Energy Shot in Strawberry – Value $1.75

I tried the energy gel. It was not the best tasting thing in the world, but I feel like a few tastes really did the trick to get me through the afternoon slump at work.

Dr, Will Bar – Value $2
One Bar in Mango – Value $1

Both of these bars were incredibly delicious. The One Bar was like a dried mango, but in bar form and even more addictive.

The Dr Will bar was the perfect filling snack at work – I ended up taking lunch an hour later than normal because it was so satisfying!

18 Rabbits in Cherry Chocolate – Value $2.25
KIND bar in Madagascar Vanilla Almond – Value $2

18 Rabbits was perfect. It reminds me of the flapjacks my friend used to make in college. Fruity, moist and full of flavor with just the right amount of chocolatey goodness.

I love KIND bars. This one was the perfect balance and sweet and salty – my favorite flavor combination. I could eat these everyday!

Thoughts: Kona Kase is amazing! I can definitely see why so many people recommend them. Compared to many of the snack and fitness boxes, I’ve tried, this is one of my favorites. I love that it is not just healthy snacks or just fitness supplements, but a combination of both to create a well-rounded box that promotes a healthy lifestyle.

What do you think of Kona Kase? Which of the healthy subscription boxes are your favorite?
