Chimes Ginger Chews in Mango and Original Flavors – Retail Value $0.45 for 2

This chip clip is so cute. I love that it is heart-shaped! I know their brand color is red, but I would love to collect these in different colors!

Thoughts: This was such a good box this month. This is one of my favorite snack boxes. It is rare that I find something I don’t like and when I don’t like something, I always know someone who will eat it. For a box of snacks to experiment with and discover, it is so worth the cost and I am glad I got an annual subscription.

The “tea” was great if you are not expecting an actual tea. This is more of a broth in a tea bag and I LOVED it! I actually used the rest of my Love with Food points to get a full-sized variety pack.

I love the brushetta from Millas Food, but I prefer to make my own!

Betty Lou’s Gluten-Free Blueberry Fruit Bar – Value $1.50

Love With Food is a snack subscription with a cause. For every box delivered, they donate a meal to a child in need. This month’s theme was “Fun on the Boardwalk” and this box could not be more true to the concept!

The Products:Love With Food finds full and sample-sized snacks from lessor known and household favorite businesses. Usually each box will have around 8 snacks for you to try. You can read all my Love with Food reviews here.
This box was full of snacks I’ve never heard about before!
I loved the salted caramel popcorn. I’ve been working on my own caramel popcorn recipe and this is one to aspire to!
I’ve been noticing these fig bars pop up a lot, but I am always happy to see them because they are so delicious!
Pretzels are my absolute weakness, so anything having to do with pretzels is a big hit with me!
I loved these peanuts – I never had a Bloody Mary flavored nut before. This was a very unusual treat that I was glad to experience.
I’ve never heard of flavored salt like this for your popcorn. I cannot wait to try them all! I am most curious about Pickle and Chili Lime – what about you?
Necco Candy Wafers – Value $0.25
Salt Water Taffies – Value $0.25?
I liked that the beef jerky was not as processed as the ones you find in convenience stores. You can actually tell you are eating meat.
I was really excited about the Necco wafers and salt water taffies! These are such summer classics and I couldn’t be more pleased to see them in the box.
Hello Fresh Gift Card – Value $25
I really wanted to try Hello Fresh for a while now, so I was so happy to see a gift card in the box. There are no prerequisites, so this can certainly be counted toward the value of the box.
Thoughts: I was really impressed with the July 2013 LoveWith Food box. Everything really fit in with the theme and I loved getting the gift card to Hello Fresh. The box only costs $12 and I got over $ in products, so this is definitely a good deal if you are looking for a smaller box that is packed with new things to try.
What did you think about the July 2013 Love With Food box? What was your favorite item?

Love with Food Box Review June 2013 – Snack Subscription Box

A lot of people recommended Love with Food as a good snack box to try out. This particular snack subscription box stood out to me because they donate a meal to charity with every box sold.

The Cost: $12 a month, including shipping
The Coupon: Use code FBGIFT to get your first box for only $2
The Products: About 8 locally sourced gourmet or organic snacks plus other fun goodies.
My first impressions of the box were pretty positive. I recognized a few of the brands from past boxes, but most of the snacks were completely new to me.
Do More Bars in Pineapple Coconut – Value $1.90
Go Organic Hard Candies in Blood Orange and Apple – Value $0.25 each
The Do More Bar is kind of like a tropical gluten-free Rice Krispie treat. I loved it!
Seaweed Love Olive Oil Seaweed – Value $2
Turbana Plantain Chips – Value $1
I love, love love seaweed! I am always happy to see it in my snack boxes! The plantain chips were salty, sweet and very nice. My daughter even ate them and she is not a huge plantain fan.
Surf Sweets Gummie Bears – Value $0.50
Flavrz in Citrus Hibiscus – Value $1.30

I’ve tried Surf Sweets in a few other boxes and I am always happy to find them! They are such a guilt-free alternative to the gummy bears at CVS!

Flavrz was a great new find for me. I don’t like giving my daughter soda or juice, and this is a nice way to give her a little treat every now and then.

SoyJoy in Mango Coconut – Value $1.25
Smooze in Coconut and Mango Fruit Ice – Value – $1.50

I love mango and coconut, specially together. I just wish I had more variety in flavors in my box! That being said, the Smooze was incredible and this might be a new summer staple treat for my toddler!

Naked Wines Gift Card – Value $50
Pur Gum in Pomegranate Value – $1.75

At first I was excited to try out Naked Wines with this gift card, but when I went on the website, I realized that you have to buy bottles of wine in increments of six, making the minimum payout for redeem the gift card is about $50. It is still a good deal for six bottles of good wine, but I still wish there was not a bottle limit.

The Pur gum is really great. I love the flavor, but the consistency of the gum is a little tougher than regular gum you find at the store.

Thoughts: I was really happy to try out Love with Food and I was able to discover a lot of great new brands. I would definitely try this box again. This box is a lot less expensive than other snack boxes and they also donate to charity to help end hunger. I really cannot think of one downside
