Nail Art Society Review and Coupon! September 2013 – Nail Subscription Box

Due to delays in shipping, Nail Art Society only just begun to ship their September boxes. Although I was a little disappointed to get my box so late, I really think this box was worth the wait!

The Cost: $14.95 a month, including shipping

The Coupon: Use coupon code OCT10 for 10% off your first box!

The Products: Each month, Nail Art Society will pick out a nail art and send you all the materials you will need to complete the look as well as a few extras to create your own look. You can read my past Nail Art Society reviews here.

Jessica Cosmetics Custom Nail Colour in Cinnamon Kiss- Value $8.40

I love a deep red for Autumn, and this particular color also has some gold microglitter which makes it even better for Fall.

Silver and Gold Foil – Value $5?

I’ve never used foil in my nail art before, so it will be interesting to see how this goes. They recommend using a tissue paper to handle the foil and make it easier to manipulate.

Cala 3-D Nail Stickers – Value $3.50 each

Adoro Nail Crystals – Value $4?

I never thought about putting something like crystals on my nails because I always imagined I would want to play with them constantly. I am still excited to give this a try!

Thoughts: I am so excited to try out this new nail art! I love that they give you some inspirations for the products they send you and keep everything simple enough for a novice such as myself. The October spoiler is all about studs, so I can’t wait to see what that is like!

Nail Art Society Review August 2013 – Nail Subscription Box

Lately, I’ve been really interested in growing my nail polish collection and I thought it would be a good idea to try out some nail art. The Nail Art Society sends out different tools you will need to create different types of nail art, plus a tutorial.

The Cost: $9.95, plus shipping (It cost me $14.95 in total)

The Products: Nail Art Society sends a variety of nail art tools you will need to create a different nail art each month.

Cala Professional Nail Art Decals in Butterflies – Value appox. $3 each

I never used decals before, but they seem very simple to use. I love the colorful butterflies – they are just my smile!

Orly Instant Artist Stripers in Crisp White, True Blue, Jet Black, Platinum - Value $6.50 each

I never used any striping polishes before, so I was so excited to get these!

This is the nail art idea they sent – Striking Chevron. I like that this is a very on-trend art-style, but still easy for a novice such as myself to accomplish. The other card has information on the featured nail art guru and some of her nail polish tips and tricks.

They also included information on the various Orly products. I did not realize how many polish colors Orly had!

Thoughts: This was a perfect first Nail Art Society package! I recently purchased a few dotting tools and was looking at a few striping tools. I cannot wait to see what the next few months are like!

What did you think of Nail Art Society? Do you do any nail art? If so, do you have any tips?
