Poppy Parcel Review August 2013 – Indie Subscription Box

I’ve heard people mention Poppy Parcel a few times and decided it was about time I tried them out on my own. It was a good thing I made my decision when I did because soon after I made my purchase, I saw the announcement that they are looking for new owners.

The Cost: $20.99

The Products: Poppy Parcel contains a selection of products from indie beauty and lifestyle brands as well as products from uprising companies.

Counter Couture Strawberry Tea Towel – Value $10

I love tea towels and cannot get enough of them. I love the strawberry print. It inspires me to bake a pie for some reason.

Especially Paper Lemon Tag Pack - Value $2

This was really cute. I never ran my own lemonade stand before, but I think this might be a cute decoration idea for a kids party with a mini lemonade stand.

Nail Butter – Value $12

Nail Butter works to strengthen your nails and cuticles. I was really excited to see this in the box. I have not been able to wear nail polish in a while because my nails were peeling. I hope this will help me get back on my polish addiction without anymore breaks!

Thoughts: I really liked this box a lot. The products were quirky, fun and functional. I know I will definitely use the tea towel and the nail butter. I will probably end up doing a mini lemonade stand this weekend with my daughter just so we can use the tags! I am really sad to find out about Poppy Parcel being sold and I truly hope that someone does pick up the reigns soon!
