A few months ago, I signed up for a 3-month subscription which technically ended in October, but I was fortunate enough to have a reader mention my blog when they signed up for a 6-month subscription, so I was given another month free as a thank you. So to whoever it was that mentioned Subscription Maven as your referrer, THANK YOU because this is one of my favorite subscription boxes to get! …
I am always so excited to get my Vegan Presence box in the mail each month. I was especially excited to see what Fall items were included in the October box. There were some delays in getting the review done due to shipping issues and my transfer to a new blog platform….
Vegan Presence is a newer subscription box that focuses on finding a variety of vegan and cruelty-free beauty and food products. They also focus on promoting a balance of sustainable living and enjoying the finer things in life.
The Cost: $23 for a one-off box, $20 per box for a 3-month subscription.
The Products: Vegan Presence delivers a selection of full-size and sample-sized beauty products and snacks. that are completely vegan and cruelty-free. The September box was curated by Sunny from my favorite vegan blog, Vegan Beauty Review. You can check out my past Vegan Presence subscription box reviews here.
Beanfields Bean and Rice Chips in Nacho – Value $1.50
Yum! I adore Beanfield’s chips and immediately ate these while opening the rest of the box.
Schmidt’s Deodorant in Cedarwood + Juniper – Value $8
Mystical House Mocha Facial Scrub – Value $10
MuLondon Organic White Chocolate Truffle Moisturizer – Value $14
This is my new favorite moisturizer. It is the most decadent product I’ve ever experienced. The smell is out-of-this-world amazing and the texture is so thick and creamy. I find excuses to put this on!
Thoughts: This box was a huge hit for me! As always, the products were very well thought out. The box was a completely new experience for me and I loved the chance to try each product. I would definitely love to see another collaboration box in the future!
I was so excited to get my August Vegan Presence subscription box in the mail today. I just ordered a 3-month subscription and I am already thinking about extending it. Vegan Presence is one of my favorite eco-friendly subscription boxes, so I was thrilled with Andrea, the founder of the company, offered me the opportunity to also host a giveaway for their September box which is curated by one of my favorite vegan blogger, Sunny of Vegan Beauty Review.
The Cost: $23 for a one-month subscription, other subscriptions are available for a lower price per month.
The Products: The Vegan Presence subscription box service focuses on introducing you to vegan lifestyle products including home goods, beauty products and food. The company also focuses on being earth-friendly and using only the most sustainable products available. Vegan Presence also donates 5% of its profits to animal and environmental organizations annually. You can read all my Vegan Presence reviews here.
I never knew this before, but apparently I love peppermint soap! The smell is strangely refreshing and addictive. I can’t wait to try this soap during my morning shower to really wake me up before work! The soap box also contains shamrock seeds. I will use one of my small pots to plant these!
The rub is an aromatherapy moisturizing salve. It is recommended for little kids with sensitive skin, which my daughter has, so I am very happy to have this for her.
Not only is this card beautifully printed, but you can also plant this to grow your own vegetables! It is a little late in the season and I know I should wait to plant them, but I am so excited, I do not know if I can wait until nest year!
Beauty Without Cruelty Hand & Body Lotion - Value $2.99
I love the Beauty Without Cruelty products. I own a few of their nail polishes and I think it was my first introduction to vegan beauty. I was so excited to get this sample and tossed it right in my purse!
Liz Lovely Vegan and Gluten-free Chocolate Chip Cookies - Value $3.99
If you don’t think vegan chocolate chip cookies can taste good, you have not tried these cookies before. They do not taste like traditional cookies, but instead taste more like cookie dough. If you don’t like cookie dough then we are not friends (kidding!) These are decadent and so delicious. I already ordered some of her coconut macaroons.
Thoughts: Yet again, Vegan Presence really impressed me not only with the variety and uniqueness of the brands and products, but also with the thoughtfulness of the curation. I cannot wait until next month when my favorite vegan blogger teams up with Vegan Presence to curate the September box. If you have not heard about Vegan Beauty Review, Sunny talks about some of the best vegan and cruelty-free beauty products and genius beauty DIY how-to’s.
Now onto the giveaway! Vegan Presence has kindly offered me two September subscription boxes for you to win. Enter below.
I love finding out about new subscription boxes, especially ones that put a lot of care and thought to their curation. When Vegan Presence offered to send me a box to review, I jumped at the chance.
Vegan Presence is a vegan lifestyle subscription box that sends out unique vegan items that range from food, beauty to home products. Each item is guaranteed to come from a company who is in no way affiliated with any type of animal-cruelty. (The same goes for any parent companies they may belong to) All of the packaging is green and biodegradable or reusable.
They offer a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription for $60, $115 or $220. You can buy one-off boxes for $23.
Included was a Guide to Veg Living which gave a lot of useful information about becoming vegetarian or vegan, plus some really great recipes. This is perfect for someone like me who isn’t a vegan. but is interested in that lifestyle.
There was also a letter explaining the fundamentals of the company, plus product descriptions prices and why they were chosen.
The first thing that caught my eye was the Vegan Presence tote bag. I love the design! Value – $16
Flying Bird Botanicals in Cacao Lavender Mint hot chocolate powder – I love fusing different flavors together and this mix of lavender and mint with chocolate is right up my alley. It smells incredible too! Value – $8.75
Broo Craft Beer Shampoo and Conditioner – This was the item that made the whole package smell great, I think. The funny thing is that if I open the top, it actually just smells like beer which was not the scent I was (and still am smelling on everything). Value – $6 (together)
I noticed i also received two small samples of the Broo shampoo and conditioner with coupons and a Vegan sticker.
I almost forgot about the Go Max Go Twilight Chocolate bar. I gobbled this up while I was looking through the box, so I only have a picture of the wrapper. It is the vegan version of a Milky Way, but only better. Value – $2.50
Verdict: I am incredibly impressed with this subscription. Not taking into account the makeup samples, the total value is $33.25, which is way over what you pay, no matter the subscription option you choose. Not only that, but I loved the new and interesting brands and generally being introduced to a whole new (awesome) way of living.
What did you think of Vegan Presence? Do you think this is a subscription you might want to sign up for?
If you are interesting in signing up, if you mention Subscription Maven in the referral section, you can get $5 off the trial or 3-month subscription!
